Purvanchal Social Development Society (PSDS) is a Non-Governmental Organisation based in Uttar Pradesh, north-east India. The aim of PSDS is to develop a society which is healthy, educated, empowered, systematic and economically strong. We work in numerous regions of Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring Bihar and we have established a wide variety of projects which focus on achieving our aims. Contact us

Our projects range from child education and welfare to homes for the elderly. The majority of the projects are focused in rural and tribal areas where the needs are greatest. We look for practical ways to improve the social and economic circumstances both in the short and long term. Our Projects.

We work to help people who are uneducated and illiterate, and have poor social and economic conditions. Our work has no bias regarding gender, religion and background. However women, children and the elderly are on top of our priority list as they are suffering the most.

We would like to thank all who have contributed to the running of the various projects to date. PSDS welcome collaborations and assistance from individuals and organisations to help improve our efforts.
